Looking Forward In 2015

Looking Forward In 2015
New products are in the pipeline for this new year. We've got a dual-axis external sensor that should be ready to make it's debut by the beginning of March. We've come up with a vacuum formed dome design to create an ideal enclosure. The attached pictures show a prototype unit. One of the nice features is the built in light vane which should make for accurate solar aiming. Also shown is one of the rough domes fresh from the vacuum former before it's been cut from the sheet of PET plastic. The external sensor is coming out to support our new dual-axis controller that is loaded with every feature we could think of from our TinyTracker and Track'n Park products as well as more. While it's loaded with features, this new controller is also designed to be economical. Some of the great features include reverse polarity protection, fuse protection, and analog wind sensor support for storm parking. The best new feature is the wireless RF remote control capability for manual as well as automatic operation. This can really be handy when doin setup or maintenance work on your tracker.Last not least, we're looking to develop a compound parabolic design for use with solar vacuum tubes, as well as a prototype "target" device for solar heating with a heliostat enabled version of the SolarMega tracker. I'm really excited about the possibilities of these new projects.May the sun shine on all your solar projects and ours to make them a success!Picture:
